Privacy Policy

This is a placeholder Privacy Policy. Final legal language will be provided by counsel before launch; this template establishes structure, required disclosures, and the opt-out mechanism described in the brief.

Scope

This policy applies to information collected through this website and through the contact and assessment-request forms on it. It does not cover services delivered under a separate written engagement; those engagements have their own data-handling terms in the corresponding statement of work.

What we collect

Information you provide directly

When you submit the contact form or the assessment-request form, we collect the information you choose to enter — typically: name, company, role, site type, primary concern, and any notes you provide. We also capture whether you checked the marketing opt-in box, including the timestamp and the page from which the form was submitted.

Information collected automatically

We collect standard analytics about how the site is used — pages viewed, referrer, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type. We use a privacy-friendly analytics provider in addition to (or instead of) Google Analytics 4. Server access logs are retained for security and operational diagnostics.

What we do not collect on this website

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. We do not collect special-category data (health, biometric, or similar) through this website. We do not require account creation. We do not run any third-party chat widget or marketing pop-ups.

How we use it

  • To respond to inquiries you submit through the contact and assessment-request forms.
  • To send you marketing or service communications by email, text message, or phone callonly if you have explicitly opted in via the unchecked checkbox on a form. The opt-in is a single, bundled consent covering all three channels.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use it to build advertising profiles. We do not share submissions for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Third parties we share data with

We use a small number of vendors that process limited data on our behalf:

  • HubSpot — to receive and route form submissions, and to send marketing communications to contacts who have opted in.
  • Analytics provider — Google Analytics 4 and/or a privacy-friendly analytics provider (Plausible or Fathom) for site usage measurement.
  • Hosting provider — to deliver the website (Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare Pages, or comparable static host).

Each vendor processes data under a written data-processing agreement aligned to applicable law. We do not authorize these vendors to use submitted data for their own purposes.

Data retention

  • Form submissions and related contact records: retained as long as the contact relationship is active, then archived for up to seven years, then deleted, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
  • Server logs: retained for up to 90 days for security and operational purposes.
  • Analytics data: retained according to the analytics provider's configured retention window (we configure short windows where the provider allows).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Receive a portable copy of your personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, use the contact form on this site (select "Other" as the topic and note your request) and we will route it to our privacy contact.

Your choices / opt-out

Opt-in coverage. When you check the marketing opt-in box on the contact or assessment-request form, you consent to receive communications from us by email, text message, and phone call. The opt-in is a single, bundled consent — checking the box covers all three channels. We do not send any marketing communications to anyone who has not opted in.
Opt-out — email only. Our opt-out mechanism applies to marketing email. Every marketing email we send includes a working one-click unsubscribe link in the footer; clicking that link removes you from future marketing email. You may also request email unsubscribe through the contact form on this site. Opting out of email does not automatically opt you out of text messages or phone calls covered by the same consent; if you would like to revoke consent for those channels as well, contact us through the form and we will process the request manually.
Deleting your contact record. To request deletion of any contact record we hold for you (in HubSpot or otherwise), use the contact form on this site, select "Other" as the topic, and request deletion. We will confirm completion in writing within a reasonable period and not later than required by applicable law.
Analytics opt-out. You can opt out of analytics tracking in three ways:
  • Enable your browser's "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal — we honor it.
  • Send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — we honor it as an opt-out of sale/share and behavioral advertising (which we do not engage in by default).
  • Use the analytics cookie controls on your browser, or install the official browser opt-out tools published by the analytics providers we use.

Where local law (such as CCPA / CPRA, the GDPR, or others) provides additional rights, those rights apply in addition to the choices described here.

Contact for privacy inquiries

For privacy-related questions — including data access, correction, deletion, or unsubscribe assistance — use the contact form on this site. Select "Other" as the topic and indicate that the inquiry is privacy-related. Privacy inquiries are routed to a named individual on our team for response.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
